Also when it comes high end equipment, some brands started out long time ago but eventually with time they started to go cheap on labor and materials and strongly decreasing quality of their products compared to what it used to be just 10 years ago. However they still hold strongly in the fishing market due to brand recognition and marketing. Likewise, there are some new up and coming brands that try to carve their niche in the market and offer really high quality stuff for decent money.
